MALICE IN WONDERLAND Parts Ways With Bassist, Seeks Replacement
July 24, 2008Norwegian hard rock band MALICE IN WONDERLAND has parted ways with longtime bassist Andy Valentine. According to the group, "There is no drama to this. Sometimes people change, evolve and drift apart and that is what have happened with us. Not on a personal level though; we are glad to say that we all are still the best of friends, but musically we are going our separate ways now. Therefore Andy does not feel right to be part of MALICE anymore and that is, of course, a decision we respect and understand. . . Andy's leaving will in no way delay the band's plans for the future. We will now continue playing shows with a session member. We are working hard in the studio with our new amazing record and of course the search for a new bass player is now on!'
MALICE IN WONDERLAND is planning to release the first single from the its sophomore album, entitled "Diamonds & Debauchery", after the summer.
